First thanks to Nate Hirt and Andrew Douglas for sticking it out after SWOGC there was a lot more work to get this thing ready for distribution...

Andrew is continuing to tweak the Android version, it also uses PhoneGap.

It took 8 days (6 business days) to get through the whole process.

The app was rejected once because I didn't have a url correct for the contact page.  I corrected that and within a few minutes the app was back in the "In Review" status.

The Fossilator has been in the app store for about 24 hours now and I do know that it has been downloaded by many people I know, but the reports haven't started producing any statistics to publish yet.

Nate and I will be meeting in a couple weeks to talk about another app and talking about what projects he wants to submit to SWOGC.  They will mostly likely be apps targeting iPads (if the camp can get funding).
